Sailing Away

The photographic pendant necklaces are created by Susanne Brandt. Susanne uses various scenic images that she captured with her infrared and color SLR cameras. Susanne starts the process by printing her photograph on a translucent archival photographic paper with archival inks and then adheres silver or gold leaf to the back of the image. The metallic leaf gives a mystical glow to the image. A clear domed glass is placed over the image to protect it while enhancing the illumination of the image. The pendant mount is made from a strong metal alloy that is antique in color and will not tarnish. The antique metals are selected to enhance the metal leaf behind the photographs.

Each pendant is created with your choice of a ribbon or sterling silver  neck chain.
Each piece is made by hand ensuring a one of a kind original work of art.
